Due
to the increasing popularity of our miniature circular external fixator,
IMEX™ has developed several new mini CESF/Hybrid CESF components to
expand the capability of these devices. 1mm stopper wires with a trocar point
are most often utilized for secure fixation, while 0.035” and 0.045” k-wires
are also used as smooth fixation wires. All rings are aluminum and can be
cut at holes for conversion into arches or partial rings as desired. Use
of a wire tensioner is contraindicated with miniature rings. Mini hybrid
rod supports construction of hybrid frames with mini SK™ ESF components,
and mini circular ESF kits have been expanded to include these items. Rods
and fasteners are stainless steel.
