CENTERFACE™ Fixation Full-pins,
Standard (cortical) Thread Profile
IMEX™ CENTERFACE™ fixation full-pins are centrally-threaded pins with a positive thread profile. One end is trocar-pointed. The small, medium, and large sizes were developed to be compatible with the KE clamp and to maximize the shank diameter of threaded pins utilized with the KE clamp. The standard thread profile can be used at all locations and is the most popular and versatile thread version. Standard length versions are the most popular, but limited numbers of extended length versions should be available for special circumstances. IMEX™ CENTERFACE™ fixation pins do not feature the thread profile of a bone screw, but are designed with the unique environmental and mechanical differences between a bone screw and ESF pin being taken into design consideration.
All CENTERFACE™ fixation full-pins are produced from the highest quality, implant grade 316LVM stainless steel.
All can be utilized with acrylic or epoxy frames.
All sizes can be accommodated with the SK™ ESF System.
20020 (2.0mm shank) is the largest pin recommended for the Mini SK™ ESF clamp. 20020 (2.0mm shank) and 20030 (3.0mm shank) are particularly advantageous with European fixator systems that utilize 2.0mm and 3.0mm fixation pins.
