CENTERFACE™ NP (No Point) Fixation Full-pins,
Standard (cortical) Thread Profile
CENTERFACE™ NP fixation full-pins lack the trocar point found on standard CENTERFACE™ pins. Pre-drilling is required for pin placement. Lack of a trocar point makes this pin less expensive than trocar pointed CENTERFACE™ pins, and potential for injury to the surgeon or patient during pin placement is reduced. Lengths, diameters, and recommended drill bits are common with standard CENTERFACE™ pins. IMEX™ pin and drill charts can be used for trocar and no point (NP) versions.
When pre-drilling, this should be the centrally threaded pin of choice.
All CENTERFACE™ fixation full-pins are produced from the highest
quality, implant grade 316LVM stainless steel.
All can be utilized with acrylic or epoxy frames.
All sizes can be accommodated with the SK™ ESF System.
20020NP (2.0mm shank) is the largest pin recommended for the MINI SK™ ESF
clamp. 20020NP (2.0mm shank) is particularly advantageous with European fixator
systems that utilize 2.0mm fixation pins.
