Mini SK™ STAINLESS STEEL Hybrid Rods,
1/8" (3.2mm) Diameter
The major, smooth portion of this rod supports mini SK™ clamps with its 1/8” (3.2mm) diameter. One end of the rod has 4mm threads so it can be coupled with components of the IMEX™ Miniature Circular ESF System. Hybrid frames utilize circular ESF technology for very small fracture segments without the complexity of a complete circular ESF frame. Additional use of paired spherical nuts and washers will allow postoperative manipulation to fine tune reduction. Easily cut to alter overall length.

6mm Thread

ring coupled to a traditional ESF device are possible. Hybrid frames utilize
circular ESF technology for very small fracture segments without the complexity
of a complete circular ESF frame. Additional use of paired spherical nuts and
washers will allow postoperative manipulation to fine tune reduction. These rods
are available in length increments of 50mm to 250mm overall length. The threaded
portion is approximately 25mm in length

Similar in function and design to 6.3mm titanium hybrid rods with 6mm threads,
these hybrid rods are designed to function with the European small bone fixator
(SBF) that utilizes 5mm threaded components. Practices using the SBF can now
incorporate IMEX™ SK™ technology with their circular ESF devices.

hybrid
rods can be used with the small Hybrid ESF starter kit and are available in
length increments of 50mm to 350mm overall length. The threaded portion is

Universal SK™ Hybrid Adapter, Small
Part No. 410.000 
The
small SK™ Universal Hybrid Adapter offers the advantage of using
standard small SK™ titanium or carbon fiber rods to create hybrid frames.
In addition, it offers up to 65º of adjustment compared to 15º using
standard spherical nuts and washers. As with most hybrid CESF frames, support
struts or type 1-b frames are recommended.
- Attaches easily to a 50mm, 66mm, 84mm or 118mm ring using 6mm bolts and nuts. Third hole can be left open for additional hardware placement.
- Rod-gripping element provides a secure fit for 6.3mm rods while allowing for 65º of adjustment. Accepts smooth, standard small SK™ ESF titanium or carbon fiber rods.
- Rod-gripping element is slowly tightened using a lag effect to secure rod.
