Hybrid ESF Course

An advanced 1 day course with 7 lectures and 4 lab sessions using selected circular ESF components and linear ESF components to build hybrid constructs for treatment of short segment juxta-articular fractures. Prior enrollment in the Complete Course in ESF is required to enroll in this Hybrid ESF Course. Attendance is limited to 26 participants to insure a quality experience for everyone enrolled. This advanced course is designed for veterinary surgeons, surgical residents and practitioners with a high level of orthopedic interest and experience. An introduction to components and biomechanics will be followed by lectures and laboratory exercises emphasizing treatment of angular limb deformities and difficult fractures using hybrid external fixation.
