Circular ESF Angular Hinges & Motors
In CESF frames, angular hinges are mounted in pairs across from a corresponding angular motor to allow daily correction of angular limb deformities. Hinge assemblies are also frequently used in hybrid ESF frames to provide struts or supports for rings. Angular motors are currently only available for the standard (6mm) CESF system.
Angular Hinge Assembly
Angular hinges are typically used in pairs on CESF frames for gradual correction of angular limb deformities. However, they are often also used on hybrid frames to create an articulation or strut to provide additional support for a ring. Available for mini and standard CESF/hybrid ESF frames. (U.S. Patent # 5,968,043)
Angular Motors
Zero Tolerance/Zero Motion design. Simplifies outpatient management of complicated angular deformities. Loosen hinge screws prior to steam sterilization and adjust at surgery. (U.S. Patent # 5,968,043)
