Circular/Hybrid ESF Fixation Wires
Fixation wires are the key bone fixation elements in circular fixation and most hybrid ESF frames. They are available in several diameters and in smooth and stopper wire versions.
Fixation Wire with Stopper
Stoppers, or “olives” are expanded areas along an otherwise smooth wire. Stoppers function somewhat analogous to threads in fixation pins in that they provide additional stability by their physical presence against the bone. Stopper wires are available in 3 diameters.
Smooth Fixation Wire
An economical alternative to stopper wires when an adequate number of wires can be placed with proper wire divergence. Free cutting point provides for accurate wire placement. Implant quality 316LVM stainless steel.
