Circular/Hybrid ESF Instrumentation
Instrumentation required to construct CESF frames and hybrid ESF frames is minimal and consists primarily of wire tensioners and wrenches.
Hex Drivers
Used for manual applications of rod changes or motor reduction. Also used for loosening fasteners on angular hinges and motors prior to steam sterilization. The straight driver is commonly mounted on a drill to speed assembling, adjusting and exchanging components.
Double Wrench
Utilized to span rings and turn paired nylon nuts simultaneously to achieve compression or distraction. Not for use on metal fasteners.
Dyna™ Wire Tensioner
Used to apply tension to small diameter fixation wires when constructing frames using standard size CESF/hybrid ESF components. Semi-calibrated for three basic ring diameters. No tension is required on 50mm rings, but the tensioner can be utilized to remove slack from the wire. When using the mini CESF/hybrid ESF components, wires should NOT be tensioned.
Combination Wrenches
Combination wrenches feature an open end and a closed end for maximum flexibility.
