Circular/Hybrid ESF Rings

Various styles and sizes of rings serve as the basic structural element of circular ESF and hybrid ESF frames. IMEX™ hybrid and CESF systems are divided into two basic sizes, the standard and mini. The standard is constructed around 6mm threaded rods and bolts while the mini utilizes 4mm fasteners and rods.

Full Rings

Full rings are available in a variety of sizes for both the mini and standard CESF and hybrid ESF systems and are the most commonly used ring.

5/8 Rings

5/8 Rings

5/8 rings are available in a variety of sizes for the standard size system only. Most commonly used as a stand alone ring with an open area to avoid anatomic constraints, these rings can also be closed with the corresponding 1/3 arch.

1/3 Arches

1/3 Arches

Available in sizes for use only with the standard (6mm) CESF or hybrid ESF system. Most commonly used as a stand alone frame element at the proximal humerus or femur, but show up in a variety of creative frames.

Stretch Rings

Stretch Rings

Available for mini and standard CESF or hybrid ESF systems. Popular around the hock and elbow to allow range of motion without significant reduction in ring holes available.

D2 Ring

D2 Ring

D2 rings feature a dual hole pattern and are only available for the standard (6mm rod) size CESF and hybrid ESF system. These rings are useful for a variety of hybrid frames and may be included in some true circular frames.

Spinal Arches

Spinal Arches

A structural element for the IMEX™ Circular ESF System. The large radius of the spinal arch allows temporary or permanent placement of fine wire or hybrid frames along the spine for reduction or repair of spinal injuries. Often used with small SK™ clamps.
