SK™ ESF Connecting Rods
SK™ ESF connecting rods, also called external bars, are available in 3 diameters: mini, small and large corresponding to the SK™ ESF clamp selected. A variety of rod materials are available.
Carbon Fiber ESF Connecting Rods
Available for the small SK™ device (6.3mm diameter) and the large SK™ device (9.5mm diameter) only. A variety of rod lengths are available.
Titanium ESF Connecting Rods
Only available in 6.3mm diameter for the small SK™ device. This rod is considerably stronger than the 6.3mm carbon fiber rod allowing the small SK™ system to be safely used on larger patients.
Stainless Steel ESF Connecting Rods
Only available in 1/8” (3.2mm) diameter for use with the mini SK™ ESF device. This rod is compatible with the small KE clamp and can be contoured if needed.
Aluminum ESF Connecting Rods
Only available in 9.5mm diameter for use with the large SK™ ESF device. Not as popular as the large SK™ carbon fiber rod.
