Miniature CENTERFACE® ESF Full-pins
Mini CENTERFACE® fixation full-pins are available in shaft sizes of 0.035”, 0.045” and 0.062” and are compatible with mini SK™ ESF clamps. Most commonly used with acrylic fixators on toy breeds, kittens, avian patients and small exotic pets. A single trocar point is included to clearly identify the lead-end of the pin and simplify application.
When pre-drilling is desired in the absence of the proper drill bit, one can pre-drill with a K-wire the same size as the shaft diameter of the miniature CENTERFACE® pin. However, K-wires dull rapidly and generate excess heat - so drill slowly and replace the K-wire frequently.
