Steinmann Intramedullary Pins
Steinmann pins, also known as intramedullary or IM pins are available in two basic styles: partial thread or smooth. Diameter choices are from 1/16” to 1/4” (1.6mm to 6.3mm) with various lengths available. Trocar points are standard on both ends.
Steinmann Intramedullary Pins - Trocar/Trocar Partially Threaded
Trocar/Trocar Partial Thread pins feature a trocar point on both ends. One end includes approximately one inch of threaded length. 316LVM implant stainless steel.
Steinmann Intramedullary Pins - Trocar/Trocar Smooth
Trocar/Trocar Smooth pins feature a trocar point on each end of a smooth pin. 316LVM implant stainless steel.
Steinmann Intramedullary Pins Starter Kits
Pin kits contain an assortment of standard size K-wires and IM pins in an autoclavable cloth bag with labeled pockets for the various sizes. Available in smooth and partial thread.
