Available in 1” increments from 2” to 6,” this rod is common to the small KE device. However, by using pins smaller than used with the small KE, simple frames can be maintained in most small patients. If patient size dictates pin shanks larger than 2mm, consider utilizing the small SK™ ESF System.

Mini SK™ STAINLESS STEEL Hybrid Rods,
1/8" (3.2mm) Diameter
The smooth portion of this rod supports mini SK™ clamps with its 1/8” (3.2mm) diameter. One end of the rod has 4mm threads so it can be coupled with components of the IMEX™ Miniature Circular ESF System. Hybrid frames utilize circular ESF technology for very small fracture segments without the complexity of a complete circular ESF frame. Additional use of paired spherical nuts and washers will allow postoperative manipulation to fine tune reduction. Easily cut to alter overall length.
